Instant Test Kits
Western Diagnostic Pathology provide a range of Instant Test Kits to suit varying needs, from workplace onsite testing requirements (random, incident, ‘For-cause’) to personal self-testing.
All instant test kits have been designed to meet the Australian requirements in terms of the drug classes tested and their respective cut-off levels. A result can typically be read within 5 minutes after the sample is collected.

Single panel kits are also available, as well as kits offering additional tests such as the 8 panel drug class version which also tests for Amphetamine, Methadone and Barbiturates.
Kits are available with the optional inclusion of urine adulteration tests:
Ox (oxidising agents), pH (urine pH), Cr (urine creatinine), Ni (urine nitrite)
As always, with all instant drug screen testing devices, the test device provides only a preliminary screening test result. For quantitative analytical results or to confirm positive results, a more specific laboratory performed method, such as Immunoassay or GC-MS, should be used.
