Geraldine obtained her Bachelor of Applied Science, Medical Technology from The West Australian Institute of Technology in 1980 (now Curtin University), and her Graduate Diploma in 1985. She majored in Haematology and Immunology.
Geraldine has thirteen years hospital laboratory experience working in various scientific roles in the public hospital system in Western Australia before joining Western Diagnostic Pathology in 1993. Geraldine initially joined the practice in a scientific role, as Chief Scientist, Haematology. She worked in this role for five years. Since then she has focussed more on the business of the laboratory, working in Medical Liaison, Customer Service and now occupies the role of Business Development Manager. Geraldine still maintains an active interest in laboratory medicine and is often involved in the launch of new tests and services.
