You can find updated operating hours for all our testing locations here.
Fasting is when you don’t consume any food or drinks, with the exception of water, for a set period of time. This is necessary for certain tests because the nutrients in recently consumed foods and beverages can impact your test results. If you don’t fast or fast for a shorter period, then your test results may be inaccurate.
This will depend on the type of test you’re having. Please consult with your GP before you stop your medication.
Routine blood tests are usually sent to GPs within 48 hours. However more specialised testing can take several days. Speak with your doctor for more details prior to your test.
