Dr David Paton is an experienced Pathologist, completing his training in Glasgow in 2010. He undertook Anatomical Pathology training in Western Australia and since, maintains a wide interest in histopathology and cytopathology. David is currently an Adjunct Clinical Senior Lecturer in Pathology at Curtin University, Perth.

David has been awarded the John Hunter medal and Physiological Society prize for his wealth of knowledge and continues to develop his special interest in skin pathology, where in 2019, he undertook a six month European dermatopathology fellowship under the mentorship of Asok Biswas, UK, and Bostjan Luzar, Slovenia.

David is a member of the Australasian Dermatopathology Society, and is currently working towards sitting for the UK Royal College of Pathologists Diploma in Dermatopathology.

His special interests include dermatopathology and lymphoma pathology.
